Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Talent Screening

A short call with one of our Talent Specialists to discuss your background, experience, motivations, and the role in more detail. 
Stage 2

Hiring Manager Interview

The interview will consist of an exploratory conversation about your background (what you have been responsible for in your recent roles, what you have implemented, projects you’ve worked on) coupled with some questions based upon your previous environments. 
Stage 3

Coding Interview

This is a collaborative coding exercise with some of our Engineering team. During the exercise, you will build a small project in the language of your choice. 
Stage 4

System Design Interview

This will be a whiteboard exercise. This stage will involve a back and forth discussion around wider application architecture, different application layers, etc. and the benefits & advantages of certain technologies over other technologies so expect to discuss a wide range of tech.
Stage 5

Values Interview

An open discussion assessing with our cultural values in mind (Candid, Curious, Focused, Gritty, Humble) covering topics including why you might wish to join Freetrade, how you like to work, how you've overcome failure in the past, what you've done when things have been tough/things break etc.
